[ He takes everything she throws at him with such... grace. There's no horror in his expression, there's not disgust, he doesn't beg her to be... someone else, something else, to make him forget. He sees her and he doesn't need her to be anything other than who she is, she thinks.
It gives her hope. Hope that maybe someone can love her, no strings attached.
And she, too, thinks that maybe this isn't the right moment for such thoughts, not when she's lost people she cares about, when she's lost Stefan, someone she was starting to feel things for.
